Because you care, give wisely…
1. Give with others and your donation goes farther.
Collective giving through CFC lowers administrative overhead for charities and delivers a steady stream of funds throughout the entire year. These charities depend on your generosity to keep important programs alive.
2. Select charities that mean the most to you.
CFCNCA offers more than 4,000 pre-screened and approved charities in every area of interest. Use CFC’s online charity search to find where you want to make a difference.
3. Make a big impact by giving each pay period.
The campaign is easy. The convenient payroll option helps you budget and adds up to a more significant contribution to people and communities in need over a 12-month period.

Message to NASA HQ Civil Service Employees:
The 2010 National Capitol Area Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is upon us. As we look forward to this year’s campaign, we continue to develop innovative and creative ways to provide support.
I would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2009 campaign, which was extremely successful. Your participation is truly appreciated. Contributions support local, national and international charities. Last year, CFC supported organizations that supplied disaster relief and development services after the Haiti earthquake. This year’s Catalog of Caring has 4,000 charities approved to receive financial support.
For many years, NASA employees have shown they are compassionate people and have the power to make a difference. We want to continue to show these values by supporting the 2010 campaign.
Last year, Headquarters raised 130 percent of our original goal. Because of our employees’ generosity, Headquarters was awarded the Summit Award, as well as the Participation Award. Getting these awards was a first for Headquarters and a truly great achievement.
After the 2010 campaign is underway, Headquarters’ CFC Campaign Manager Sheree Stovall-Alexander will be contacting each organization to request team captains and key workers. Your interest in volunteering will be greatly appreciated.
Again, thank you to all of the volunteers who helped last year’s successful campaign. I hope you and others will step up and help make this campaign even more successful. As we usher in the new era of exploration at NASA, I hope our CFC campaign will be as innovative and successful.
